Pig Pickin’ Picnic May 22

Join us for our 2nd annual pig pickin’ which brings together Triangle Area alumni and area students going to Mizzou for the first time this fall or returning. It will be held on Sunday, May 22 (this is not Memorial Day weekend), from 1 pm – 5 pm at the centrally located Historic Oak View County ParkBluebird Shelter, 4028 Carya Dr., Raleigh, NC 27610. Register here by Friday, May 13, for the best prices, but still a good deal after that. You can even show up and pay at the event. Price includes all the food & fixins for a pig pickin’. This is a great opportunity to spend a leisurely, enjoyable afternoon with fellow Mizzou Tigers and University of Missouri-Columbia students from our area. See you there!

WRAL-TV News Broadcast, Tour & Dinner

On Thursday, Jan. 14, 2016, 5:30 pm, the Mizzou Triangle Tigers Board will gather to watch a live broadcast of the news, go on a Behind-the-Scenes Tour of the  WRAL-TV Studios and enjoy a free Pizza Dinner with 12 WRAL studioMizzou Alternative Break students visiting the Triangle. We have space for 15 additional alumni, so please RSVP today to jill@themediapro.biz if you’d like to join us. This is a free event. The  WRAL-TV Studios are located at  2619 Western Boulevard, Raleigh, NC 27606. Arrive promptly at 5:30 to check-in and get seated for the 6 pm live newscast.

 

News Watch Party at WRAL-TV

The Mizzou Triangle Tigers Board invites you to a different kind of watch party! Next Thursday, Jan. 14, at 5:30 PM, we’ll be gathering at the WRAL-TV news station to watch the live broadcast of the 6 PM news, tour the station and then enjoy a pizza dinner. Mizzou students who are volunteering during their Mizzou Alternative Break will be joining us. Due to limited space, we can accommodate the first 15 Mizzou alumni who RSVP to Jill Hammergren now jill@themediapro.biz. The event is free. Those attending are asked to arrive promptly at 5:30 to WRAL-TV Studios, 2619 Western Boulevard, Raleigh, to get checked-in and ready to watch the live broadcast. See you therWRAL studioe!
